Bickleigh Castle Wedding Photographer – Claire and James at Bickleigh Castle, Tiverton, Devon.

I had a really wonderful time photographing Claire and James on their wedding day. There were so many fabulous moments to capture throughout the whole day and I have included a selection here. Bickleigh Castle has a magical feel about it and everyone appeared to be a bit spellbound by it’s labyrinthal layout, fabulous grounds and gardens. As always, I completed a recce of the whole area and found countless locations that were stunning. We ventured off for shots of Claire and James to the most captivating of these which was a very old tower ruin to the side of the castle, the small stream and bridge and garden, and the main bridge that spans the River Exe whose banks the castle stands on. Claire and James are a very warm hearted couple whose sense of fun and adventure really added to creating these extra special portraits. Equally as fun were the bridal party group shots which everyone was really keen to participate in and the hilarity we had capturing these really made the experience one that will last in my memory. Thanks to Claire and James for choosing me to document their fabulous wedding day.

Bickleigh Castle castle is a really stunning venue to host a wedding. The castle and grounds date as far back as 600AD and it has a charm and history that is both wonderful and fascinating. Set deep in the Devon countryside and on the banks of the River Exe the castle is definitely one of my most favourite wedding venues and a joy to photograph.
