Castle Combe Wedding Photography. What a great day! from the getting ready stage, onto the ceremony and through to the evening reception, there were so many opportunities to capture in my lens. It was a beautiful summers day for Amy and Andrew’s wedding at the Manor House Hotel in Castle Coombe and I had a fabulous day capturing all the action, emotion and drama that seemed to be abundant throughout their day. Amy and Andrew are a very warm hearted couple whose energy and sense of fun were a joy to document in photographs. The light was very sharp and cast many shadows which coupled with a late afternoon hazy skyline made for some really atmospheric shots. I get a real buzz from hunting out interesting light and shadow and when I take couples away from their guests for their portrait shots, I’m always keen to seize a moment when I see something magical for these. The late afternoon sun was particularly beautiful and some of my faves have to be the shots up in the old gardens to the back of the Manor. There is a particular kind of  golden or pink light during the summer evenings that I love and which never ceases to amaze me at how well it is for skin tone and which just brings out the best in people. Most full day weddings can accommodate an evening shoot and it is often when I take these portraits of the bride and groom and group shots of the bridesmaids and groomsmen.

Many thanks Peter. The album has arrived and it is absolutely beautiful.
Thank you so much for everything. We will definitely be back in contact if we ever need any more photography in the future and will also keep recommending your services to all family and friends.
Best wishes,
Andrew and Amy Gregory.
