Morden Hall Wedding Photographer. Morden Hall is a wonderful 18th century country house with beautiful gardens and surrounding parklands. It has a river running through the parkland next to the venue with a stunning wrought iron bridge which is perfect for portraits of the bride and groom.
Candice and Rael’s winter wedding was a fabulous mix of traditional and contemporary jewish celebration. The ceremony and singing were wonderful and very emotional and the hora chair dance in the evening was amazing and incredible fun to capture. The dancing was so varied and spectacular to photograph I was in seventh heaven and could not rest my camera for a single minute. The weather was was a perfect crisp, cold and sunny winter’s day with beautiful clear blue skies. The remaining autumnal leaves on the trees and the light reflecting on them and through the branches was stunning and made a perfect backdrop for portrait shots of Candice and Rael. We took a stroll throughout the gardens and ended with some romantic portraits of them on the old iron bridge spanning the river and then for a few remaining shots of them walking back to the house. The interior of Morden Hall is very elegant and each room has it’s own particular charm. One of my favourite rooms had three large sash windows which as the daylight faded, filled the room with gorgeous soft light and which was perfect for a silhouette shot of Candice and Rael and was also the perfect way to end this stage of their wedding photography.
Candice and Rael’s wedding was selected for the ‘Real Wedding’ section on the Morden Hall website and you can visit this here.
