Rookery manor is a great venue to host a wedding as it has lots of areas throughout it’s grounds that are stunning for portraits of the Bride and Groom. As often with couples, Laura & Brian were a little camera shy at first though soon got in the swing of it and though it was quite cold we managed to create something really special with some shots on the bridge and on the terrace. As the day wore on into the evening the wooden walk-through’s to each area of the venue lit up and this light coupled with the deep blue of the night sky, made the perfect setting for portraits of Laura that I new would be stunning. Laura’s beautiful dress seemed to become illuminated by this mixture of natural and tungsten light which resulted in shots that I think are unique.
