Ufton Court Wedding Images – Hi and welcome! I capture weddings throughout the county of Berkshire and I specialise in natural, unobtrusive documentary wedding photography. My style is a mixture of candid and classic photography with a distinctive look and style.
A selection of images from Claire and James’ wedding.
A gorgeous day at Ufton Court for Claire and James’ wedding. The weather was mild and a little over cast with a few light showers later in the day. The excitement and warm feeling in the air was palpable and all throughout the day! I had such a good time documenting Claire and james’ wedding and there were no end of fabulous moments that were a feast for my lens. Set in 16 acres on the Berkshire and Hampshire border, the venue is a grade 1 listed manor house with a 16th century tithe barn. The venue is large and easily accommodated Claire & James’ large wedding party and guests. Ufton Court offered up lots of possibility for great shots of Claire and James and their bridal party and we had a lot of fun capturing the love between them and the hilarity and bond of their friends and family.
A large part of the photos I take throughout a full-day wedding which is usually 10 hours or more are candid. I make sure people are unaware that I am taking their photograph. With natural candid shots I mostly shoot from afar with a telephoto zoom lens which means I can appear to be up-close but am actually totally unobtrusive. I move about unnoticed to capture people being themselves which means real emotion and smiles are frozen in time and a lovely honest wedding story is told.
