Hi and welcome! I’m Peter, a Swindon based professional photographer who can teach you how to master your DSLR or mirrorless camera. So, you’ve invested in a DSLR or mirrorless camera and feeling daunted by the prospect of how to use it. Have no fear! my courses whether on location or via Zoom, will give you the confidence to take the photos you love.

I love landscape photography however I’m primarily a wedding and event photographer and to view my portfolio, check out my galleries from the menu above. Whether your interest is in capturing an insect on a flower, our furry friends, portraits of people, architecture or landscapes, I can help you achieve great results. Furthermore, I welcome beginners to more advanced. We’ll venture out to a chosen location, and have fun learning how to use your camera correctly. After the shoot, you’ll learn how to edit the photos you’ve taken in Adobe Lightroom and PhotoShop. After the course, luck will no longer play a part in producing great photos and you’ll be able to keep developing your new photography skills.

Where you will learn

Swindon Photography Courses take place at locations within the local and surrounding areas. For our beginners course, Town Gardens is a favourite for it’s tree lined avenues and flowers. Additionally, if you prefer to photograph architecture, cafe’s and busy streets, the Old Town area is ideal. For my more advanced course, Lydiard Park and Coate Water are great locations and if you are interested in landscape photography, the Ridgeway and surrounding areas are ideal and a perfect location for my advanced 2-day course. After the shoot, we head back to my studio to learn how to edit your images using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.

New to photo editing and would like to learn the basics? my half-day course will be perfect for you. If you are a keen amateur or starting out on a professional basis and want to develop the skills you already have, my Advanced 2-day course will suit you as would my mentoring Zoom sessions.
